Video Processing Algorithm Architect & ASIC Front-end /Design Engineer
Job Description
- Develop new video processing algorithms in C++/java/Processing
- Optimize and convert image/video processing algorithms for transfer to hardware (FPGA/ASIC)
- Coordinate video processing simulations on compute cluster
- Prototype in FPGA and perform feasibility studies on new algorithms
- Interface with internal and external SW, HW developers, managers and teams.
- Contribute to the definition of new product designs and specifications.
Technical Qualifications
- Outstanding SW development skill using object oriented language such as C++ or java/Processing
- Development experience with real-time video and PC systems: HDMI, MPEG, 3-D TV, PCIe, RAID
- Expertise in DSP: Implementation of FIR filters, convolution, FFT, MAC
- Expertise in the design of MPEG compliant motion estimation and compression algorithms
- Experience using GPUs with parallel programming architectures such as Nvidia CUDA
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Behavioral Qualifications
- Able to work independently and with others in a fast paced, leading-edge, challenging environment
- Self driven with high standards for engineering process and technical discipline
